As our guests you will experience the thrill of sport fishing the famous golden dorado on pristine rivers, share delicious meals with friends and relax in our elegantly decorated lodge and guest rooms. Our standards are high and we aim to provide you with a trip of a lifetime. We welcome anglers of all skill levels, if you are a novice we will teach you, if you are a highly skilled angler we will provide you with exciting challenges. We are a fly fishing, horseback riding and relaxing destination and welcome the non anglers of your group.

The guys have everything down to perfection. Our guides Nico and Diego know the rivers off the back of their hands they guided us successfully to golden dorado after golden dorado. My family and I spent 15 days touring Corrientes and flyfishing at different lodges . Don Joaquin River lodge was by far the best lodge in the area. The hosts, fishing guides, the accommodation, the food, and the wine were all top notch – even my daughter who’s a fussy eater said the food was great!
My wife and daughter who enjoy fishing ( but not as much as me) even spent a few afternoons in the lodges’ sister estancia across the road, horse riding with the local gauchos.

I spent my time on the river with the fishing guides catching the beautiful golden dorado. Complete win win and zero complaints from the Andersons family ! 10/10 !

I came to don Joaquin river lodge two years ago in May and returning this November I wasn’t sure I’d able to equal the catch. But I without doubt didn’t expect to top it ! Wow is all I can say. Dorado after dorado after dorado. I come for the fishing and I’ll keep coming. Everything else – the food ,the wine, the staff and the lodge is just a wonderful bonus.

I can’t say enough about what a great operation Diego and Ramon have put together here – it’s a credit to them and I can’t wait to come back already.

Don Joaquin River lodge came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Our days of fishing were amazing
Ramons guiding is very knowledgeable and he brought us to the best fishing spots which he and the guides worked hard to find. The golden dorados are so strong, and so fun to fight with many battles that fisherman can only dream of! More than once I had a dorado jumping +10 times before landing them onto the boat. They’re size and beauty a rewarding sight for all aboard.
I would definitely recommend this place!
