Fishing

Join us for the ultimate fresh water fly fishing of the golden dorado in the Corriente and Parana Rivers of Argentina! Known as the “river tiger” fishing the dorado is one of the most exciting and challenging fishing experiences due to it’s fighting abilities.

The dorado, with it’s great weight and strength, is a powerful fighter who strikes aggressively, leaps high and runs hard. Once on the hook the dorado will fight until the end with its impressive stamina and give you a battle unlike any other you’ve experienced.

Ramon & Diego

Your hosts and fishing guides, Ramon and Diego Solanet, are a team of two brothers. They are passionate about fishing and offer expert guiding services. Having grown up in the area they are deeply knowledgable about the region and have a tremendous amount of respect for the environment and sustainable fishing. Both are bilingual and whether you are a beginner or experienced angler they are eager to share with you techniques they have learned throughout their many years of fishing the Corriente and Parana rivers.

The Rivers

The Corriente and Parana rivers offer pristine environments for fishing. Without much boat traffic the rivers are quiet and clean and are thriving ecosystems with a rich variety of flora and fauna. The Parana river is the second longest river in South America and famous for its dorado fishing. The Corriente river begins in the Ibera Wetlands, the second largest wetlands on the planet and the largest source of fresh groundwater. Our lodge is located in a very special and unique part of the world and the fishing here reflects that.
