Corrientes is famous for their traditional gaucho culture.In Estancia Don Joaquin gauchos are really friendly and will love to share their rural knowledge with you. The gaucho knowledge is shared from one generation to another.
Labors at the estancia include cattle moving, calves roping and vaccination, dehorning, branding, signaling, or bathing the cattle.
It is a common practice, after the rural duties, to share a good asado with the wood used to make fire and mark the cattle.

Day 1: Welcome and transfer from the bus station to Don JoaquÃn Estate. Breakfast. Horse selection. The Gaucho horse ride. Asado. Siesta. Las islas Horse ride. Tea in the porch. Dinner
Day 2: Breakfast. Rural activities. Lunch. Siesta. The plain horse ride . Tea and cheese tray with wine tasting. Dinner. Visit town.
Day 3: Breakfast. The Marshlands Horse ride. Asado on pole under the shade of a willow by the river. Return to the estate by track. Siesta. pool. Visit to town. Dinner
Day 4: Breakfast. . Barnyard duties with the gauchos. Lunch at the estate. Relax. Los Esteros horse ride. . Dinner. Tea and cheese tray with wine tasting. Dinner
Day 5: Breakfast. Horse ride to the Corrientes River. Lunch at the estate. Relax. Scrubland horse ride. . Dinner. Tea and cheese tray with wine tasting. Dinner  .
Day 6: Breakfast. Cattle drive and corral duties. Lunch at a local restaurant. Return by horse to the Estancia. Swimming pool. Siesta. Swimming with the horses in Los Esteros. Tea .Dinner.
Day7: Breakfast. El Monte horse ride with the gauchos. Lunch. Siesta. Gourmet tea and delicacies with wine tasting. Asado by the bonfire.
Day 8: Breakfast. Barnyard duties with the gauchos. Asado. Relax. Free afternoon. Tea and appetizers. Dinner.
Day 9: Breakfast. Departure on truck to La Teresita Estancia. There, horses and an old carriage will be ready for a ride to the scrubland, on the way to the Corrientes River. Asado on pole under the shade of a willow by the river. Return to the estate by horse. Tea in La Teresita. Return to Esquina. Farewell dinner at Don JoaquÃn. Transfer to the bus station.
Day 10: Breakfast. Barnyard duties with the gauchos ,learning gaucho skills .Lunch at the estancia. Free afternoon.Te by the lagoon.Farewell dinner.Transfer to the bus station.
